Podemos Sóller is committed to the bold, innovative and creative change that Sóller deserves.
Sóller is a town with impressive human, social and cultural potential. In 2019, when Podemos secured its first seat on the Town Hall, Sóller was at a crossroads. But our town took the wrong direction. Now, in 2023, we find a town that, after four years of rightwing governance, has ground to a halt in sectors as important as culture, housing, and transport. There’s an ever-growing gap among people and neighborhoods, a wild carte blanche to privatize public spaces, and a local government that seems to have turned its back on the people.
We seek to build a Sóller of the future, with political courage and empathy, with the support of an empowered and committed citizenry. We seek to implement transformative policies that will make our valley a fairer, greener place and where a commitment to public management is our priority. Under the slogan Courage to Transform Sóller, we seek a complete change of course to turn our municipality into a town full of life, innovation and creativity, a town that is transparent and open, and ready to take on the new challenges of the 21st century.

Housing
We are committed to coordinating with public administrations and the private sector to guarantee the right to affordable, social housing.
Environment
We will declare a Low Emissions Zone in the centre of town, reducing air pollution and restricting non-resident access by car.
Transport
We will prioritise the use of public transport over the private car, with an electric minibus route to link the different parts of our valley.
Economy
We will promote shop premises at social rental prices to strengthen local business initiatives and fight against gentrification.
People
We are committed to people. We will seek to open a new day center for the elderly and a municipal childcare center in Port de Sóller.
Spaces
We'll give our town back to its people by creating more pedestrian spaces and ensuring appropriate, fair use of our squares and streets.
